In my mandate to build on existing brand strengths, I helped to renew the essence of the VAC AERO brand and increase the company’s thought leadership profile and brand awareness in international markets. Developed a B2B content marketing plan to help connect with buyers and the broader market, and increase lead generation, nurturing and conversion. Primary efforts are driving demand generation using online/social/web channels and content marketing through the design, execution, maintenance and reporting of all B2B inbound marketing programs.
Key Initiatives & Accomplishments:
- Collaborated on product positioning to identify the basis on which to compete and win sales.
- Redesigned corporate website, corporate brochure and sales collateral, print advertising, and trade show exhibits.

- Investigated historical product innovation, identified industry’s competitive environment and priority-ranked potential target markets.
- Developed contact plans including sales strategy, policies and procedures and managed all phases of the sales cycle including initial communication.

Created, developed and executed the marketing communications plan for a major waste management equipment supplier. Articulated and refined key positioning issues and oversaw the revision of the corporate identity and company website.

Madvac International, Marketing Director - Montreal, PQ (1988 - 1997)
Oversaw development and execution of marketing strategies, budgets and promotional mix for this innovative municipal equipment start-up. Lead creative development of all communications and print collateral material and developed and implemented numerous advertising, public relations and direct mail campaigns. Coordinated sales efforts and dealer promotions internationally, launched timely product roll outs and developed sales, operator and technical manuals and product videos
Key Initiatives & Accomplishments: Directed and executed ‘world class’ advertising, sales promotion, public relations and direct mail campaigns that boosted Madvac’s presence internationally. Played a major role in developing sustainable marketing and promotional strategies that helped to increase market share and create stellar revenue growth for MADVAC products worldwide. During my 9-year tenure, annual sales skyrocketed from $200,000 to $10 million and company’s work force grew from six to sixty employees.
